Happy New Year!!
It’s only Jan 4th and I’m wondering if you’re already overwhelmed by all the talk about New Year’s resolutions? “What are you going to start doing this year?!?” There’s always a lot of hype around it.
I want to know – What are you going to STOP doing this year?
We hold on to so many routines, actions, people, and things in our life because that’s how it’s always been. But it doesn’t have to be. What have you been tolerating? Isn’t it time to let that go and stop it?
Here are some examples to spark ideas in your life of what to stop:
Stop letting people treat you poorly…even if they’re family. [I did this two years ago and although super hard, it has been liberating and empowering.]
Stop indulging in junk food.
Stop impulse buys and extraneous purchases.
Stop tolerating the way employees or clients treat your company.
Stop accumulating “stuff” in the attic, closets, cabinets, and pantry, just for the sake of having stuff.
