Back in February, I heard an engaging presentation about spontaneous remission which had me on the edge of my seat.
The presenter was Jeffery Rediger, MD, a psychiatrist and a graduate of Seminary school. He admitted, those two degrees provided him with an interesting perspective on humanity and were the source of many questions about humans, life, medicine, and healing. This curiosity also propelled him to investigate the causes of spontaneous remission.
In other words, how people with terminal diagnosis and diseases live disease-free, long after the statistics expect them to have died. Fascinating.
“Cured”
At the end of his talk, I was stoked to hear he had written a book diving deeper into what he learned about the ‘spontaneousness’ of spontaneous remission.
Cured – Strengthen Your Immune System and Heal Your Life is all about who beats the odds of disease and why.
Not only does Rediger share absolutely amazing stories from people he met and interviewed, but he also shares tools and insight into what you can do to harness the power of your immune system. He couldn’t be more right on as he discusses the science behind how your nervous system is the integral system directing your immune system to function properly.
For you non-science-nerds…it’s not toooo sciency. He shares just enough so you understand your amazing human body in ways you might not have known before.
What he doesn’t share….
Is the reminder that getting adjusted is the critical link to improving the health of your nervous system. Adjustments remove interference and congestion in your nerves, allowing your brain to communicate with your body – and your Immune System!
If you want practical advice and real world stories, this book is definitely for you. It’s a user manual of how and why we get sick or get well, and what you can do to live a vitalistic, healthy life so you can BE well. You deserve it.
With love and inspiration,
Dr. Michelle
