I’ve mentioned before that Dr. Wayne Dyer has shared some amazing and impactful knowledge with me over the years.
One that speaks volumes to me is Embrace Silence.
We are bombarded every day with constant noise.
The leaf blowers from the yard maintenance companies.
Traffic and cars driving down the street.
People at work.
People at home.
Music or talk radio in the car.
The unending chatter between our own ears.
Silence gives us space to connect with ourselves.
Silence creates peace (for our physical, emotional, and spiritual body).
Silence grounds us.
Silence rejuvenates us (so we can handle the noise).
There are two hard parts about silence.
First, we have to intentionally create space for silence because it’s not inherently given to us.
Second, we have to acknowledge and let go of the chatter between our ears, so we can Embrace Silence.
Of course there are tricks and tips on the best ways to overcome these hard parts. If you’re interested, I’m happy to share some resources with you.

How often do you sit in silence? How often do you choose silence?
You have a very full life – I know it. I challenge you to create space this week to Embrace Silence, even if just for 5 minutes at a time. Watch how it balances your soul. You deserve it.
